IKF British Full Contact Title Success!

Congratulations to Mike Sandford on his win of the IKF British Full Contact title after beating a tough durable opponent to take an unanimous decision win. We are all very proud of you for this much deserved title!

Having held the Southern Area title and with the English champion unavailable, Rob Ellick stepped up to face the Welsh wizard Mike Sandford. With the title having been vacated by Ryan Edmundson, Sanford jumped at the chance to cross the water from Wales to challenge for it. And he did not disappoint. His movement at times confused Ellick who just wanted to close him down. But it was not to be. A classy performance and no doubt about the decision and new champion Mike Sandford.
